We're back from a whirlwind trip to Utah for my brother and sister-in-law's "love story" wedding. They were married in the Salt Lake City Temple, the same temple my parents and Syd and I were married in. My mom and I had the pleasure of planning the reception, and although it seemed that Murphy's Law was in full effect, it turned out to be a beautiful summer evening. A lot of love went into the event - mom sewed all the banners and runners, Laura collected vintage Reader's Digest books, cousins helped assemble hundreds of s'more boxes and Syd was the yes man the entire weekend. I'm excited to see the professional pics, but until then, here are a few shots I took from the celebration.

It's Official. You are hired. I'm not engaged yet. In fact, I'm not even dating anyone right now, {know any nice single guys?} but I'll work on it so I can have a wedding as beautiful as this. Seriously.
