Liberty of London

While Syd's dreams came true at the soccer game, all of mine came true at Liberty of London. I thought it was going to be a little shop with fabrics and things with their signature floral prints. Nope, it's an entire department with all of my favorite things. If I had a cargo container to ship back, we would be broke. Built in an old library, it has entire floors dedicated to paper goods, furniture, rugs, fabric, clothing (think Stella McCartney and Tucker), kitchenware (anthro-esque dishtowels mixed with Wedgwood china) and even an entire section dedicated to Christmas!

What a dream come true! I would have gone crazy in there!

I scooped up the Liberty Book of Home Sewing last month and can't get over all the cute patterns and ideas. Have fun with all of your finds and I'm so glad that you two had such a great trip!

Kristina - I have a confession...I'm terrified of my sewing machine. Maybe I need to order that book to get over it?

Elise - I only bought a couple little things that would fit in my suitcase, but I'll post soon...and I'm excited to be able to go to Thursday dinners again soon!
